fireworks on the james river?
 

Does anybody know of where some good fireworks will be on the james river? I will be towing from the tri_city area to the jamesriver bridge.Or if someone can chime in on a better place to put in and watch them. wife changed here mine and now she wants to go.. Any info will be helpful......thanks:boat:

Are you going down Fri or Sat. I think that we are going to put in at James River Bridge sat afternoon and stay over night in the anchorage across from Norfolk Waterside. Fireworks start at 930 sat and 730 on sun.

The fireworks that will be put on by the Harborfest group SHOULD be a good display. It used to be at least. That is the tidewater yacht area, and like allied said you can tie up over night across from Norfolk Waterside.

Where are you putting in at the JRB? Huntington Park??

Thought about jrb but also thinking aroud bluwater because we wont be able to stay the night so I will be towing it back home after the show..
