Driftaway is at Pirates Den Marinia. Maryland Powerboat Assoc. stop here for their poker run in the fall since the weather was bad. They opened up last June. I love the place. They have great bands down there because one of the owners is from Hot Licks and knows all the bands. I may be bias because it is in walking distance to my house.

This one is right on the water. You can sit on your boat, hear the bar from their outdoor speakers and DRINK!!!!! The marina also has shower facilities. You can check them out on their facebook or myspace page or their website, Driftawaybar.com.

Scuttlebutts is another new bar/rest at the foot of the bridge onto Cobb Isl. Drift Away is at Pirates Den Marina on the Island south of the bridge. Good docking and good entertainment especially after dark :drink::drink:

Now if we could just keep all those noisy go fasts outta there it'd be reaalll nice !!! LOL :grinser010: :eek:

So I heard they had 2 weeks to scoop out what they could, and that was it?

Used a digger with a long reach- like 80 feet- dug what they could while they could and now done? Doesn't sound right- esp since there was about 5' of snow to flake down in those 2 weeks?

Was that just Mona doing is chunk by the marina or ____?

Just drove down their to look at whats happening. The digger was sitting silent, but they sure did tear up the ground around the slip owners side. Big ruts and holes in the ground. Its going to need some serious landscaping, wonder who's paying for that. Their was even some slip owners private property tore up. I cant believe they are going to leave it like that.
