potomac river raft up July 2nd
 

st clements bay , right behind st clements island , 25 boats confirmed already. Theres a beach to hang out on , a barge serving drinks and food , everyones welcome . Fireworks as well .

How about for us losers that don't even know where that is?

St. Clements is about 5-10 miles south of Cobb Island. Not sure if I wil be boating on Sat. but if I am I will try to make it.

Is there a ramp really close by? I might bring the Mini Hawk out.

Sydways if you coming from Richmond area, try the Colonial beach area. I know they have one at the end of the island. Then you just have shoot across the river and south a little.

Are you saying the raft up will be just north of the Island, and South of Colton's Point?

I've been to colonial beach once before :) it was in a 89 maxium 2300 cruzing along at 40mph. From Leesylvania it was an ALL day trip!!!

Now that I've got the new boat I'm going to try and get past the 301 more often. Looking for new places to go. See you all out there Saturday!

There's a ramp accross from my dad's on Nomini that would suit your mini just fine. From there, it's a short ride to St Clements.
I might be down there around 12 with the Crownline - kids, skis, tubes ect.
Call me if you need directions.....

Was on Cobb island all yesterday, beautiful day. Saw a velocity and a couple bajas come through the sound before we lit off fireworks.
