What is going on with the lake level. I heard they are draining the lake for repairs to the dam. The lake level seems to be dropping fast. Is this true? Do you think there will be enough water for the run on the 14-17th.

Yes, they are lowering the water...but not until after Labor Day! The water is down approximately 3 feet, so there will still be PLENTY of water to do some running in when you guys come up!:D

I think what you have heard is that the water is being lowered about 15 feet so that they can fix the dam. It will be that way for about 3 years so it looks like we'll be making a few more road trips to Hartwell and Ga. the next few years!:mad: The lake will still be "usable" but only for jet skis and pontoons!

I think all of the people from Murray will be here this weekend...but, not sure of the Hartwell people. Why...coming to see us?:p

I do know that we will be up at Hartwell on the 21-23 of June for the "101 Mile Poker Run" that they are having. I know we have 7 or 8 boats going as of today!

From what Kenneth has told me we are going, Jeff Spotts, Marshall & Andrea, Curt & Martha, Jan & Christa, Ed & Vicki and Mike Nichols & his crew (Black Thunder Rep)are doing the run. I sent out some info this morning and I expect we'll have more joining. Are you guys planning on going? Maybe we can get some of these GA people to show up, too!:p
