Welcome hpron,
Check with "speedbump" for info on the trip. She is heading up the run. The itinerary can be found at www.atlantapowerboat.com (look at the left bottom of the page for the link) Gig |
I wouldn't call it "heading it up" but I got the directions etc. and they are on the web site. I heard a rumor that the 20 reserved rooms for APBC have been reserved already so it sounds like we'll have a nice crowd.
|
I'm sure it will be fun. Try not to say to many bad thhings about me.

Thanks for the welcome..already got info from speedbump,
dont know if we will make Martin on this trip, but will try for some of the others..who will be out on the pond this weekend.{sat}?? |

O K...
Yep, that'd be Illinois Creek. Now, as far as ramps... I usually put in @ Allatoona Landing because I have both boats there. It's a pay site otherwise. I believe @ Hwy 92 Exit, there's Galt's Ferry Landing, and a couple more, I can't think of the names. On Glade Rd. Exit, there are a couple of ramps, Holiday and Tanyard Creek. On Allatoona Emerson Exit, there's Allatoona Landing, and further down is The Blockhouse ramp. These are the closest ramps to I75 I can think of, hope this helps!
What kinda Warlock ya getting? I've got a 25' World Class I bought from Atlanta Marine, and absolutely LOVE it!!! Kurt and the guys there are great, so far anyway... :) |
Welcome hpron!!!!!!!
Most of the folks "who don't have wet storage like me - hehe" put in at the Blockhouse, then cruise northward past the dam and the yacht club to Illinois Creek, aka Cocktail Cove. If you come up, let us know when and we'll meet you at the Blockhouse and give you the grand tour!!!!!!!!! ENJOY your day! :D |
Thanks for the info Red Warlock..
I am having a 27 built..its coming direct from Carter..I love them..it will be my third one..I used to have the purple and white one that raced in factory one against Propco..it was called Purple Haze..F1 -86..I retired last yr..the bug is still in me though:D |
