Boating events an Dates for the M/D/Va Area 2014
 

Last year it didn't work out so well to really attend any events. Trying to get a jump on calendar planning and hopefully block out some dates and hopefully attend one or more this year. These are the events and dates that I think I know of, and wondered what I might be missing or have wrong ? I'm sure i'm not the only one who'd benefit from a complete list of boating events in the area :)

What am I missing??


May 16 SML,VA poker run

June ??? Reiter Cup Fun run --Chesapeake Bay (I believe this was June 8th last year so assuming maybe it'll be a similar time frame?)

Jun 27-28 Powerboating for the cure Poker run. Hampton, va.

Aug 2-3 Jammin on the James, James River

Aug 22-23 Rock the Bay Poker Run. Upper Chesapeake Bay

We had a pretty good time at Party on the Potomac... not sure of dates this year. Also the Solomons Race Weekend Run, and their annual fun run.

Don't forget about Aquapalooza on the Potomac and the PPP on the James River July 19th, huge party raft up.

PPP on the James river will be 19'th and 20'th of July this year, Sat is the day to be there rain or shine. It's a do not miss event for us, just make sure you have a DD onboard.

Its about damn time u make it up here for a poker run ..lol..I plan on doing all those also..party on the potomac is a great run ...u should def try to make that one as well

Hey i'm not saying we are going to be able to attend all or even the majority of them but I know for 99.9% we are doing 1 or more on the Bay. :whistle: I'd like to do more, but a lot depends on my work schedule which is tight this year and getting the free extra days needed due to towing to and from. I figured gather up a concise list to at least know what's out there and then shoot for as many as work allows. What are the dates for POTP? I'd add it to the list of events. Winter sucks...
