"BIG" TN River Run October 18-20!
 

Dave and I were out at the creek this weekend and it seems that there is a big TN River trip planned the weekend of October 18th. Everybody will meet at the K-mart at Glade Road at 8:00am Friday October 18th and follow each other up. Not sure yet where they put in at but will put in and ride so far and stop for the night on the river (I will post hotel info as soon as I have it). Then Saturday ride the river for the day and then come back to the same hotel for that night. As of this weekend they had 20 boats going and that does not include anyone from the APBC.

Mike Martin, Rick Martin, Ray and Theresa, Roy and Lisa Cantrell. Most of the ones that I know are going are regulars at the creek.
I do not know that many people from this group yet - hope to get to meet alot of them on this trip.

Yes I do believe that is the weekend of Riverfest.

Thanks for the info miss BS. I have done the river before during riverfest and it is fun. LOTS of boats...mostly big cruisers. I remember the bay was very very rough so for those that go do be careful. Not sure if we will go or not.

Keep us posted on the hotel stuff. In thinking, pondering and dreaming about a smaller version of the TN River run, I pulled up some hotel and resort info on the web yesterday. Maybe one of your crowd has a good idea.
