1st Tennessee River set
 

Sorry for being so late on this...I have no excuse. Anyway, the first of two maybe three trips to the river this year will be:

OCT 11, 12 and 13. (that's in Friday evening and checking out Sunday morning) We will travel up river from Chickamauga dam one day and down river the second day. schedule and details to follow soon.

The hotel is the Hampton Inn in Chatt/Hixon (423-877-3100) ROOM ARE LIMITED so If you're thinking of going, GET YOUR ROOM NOW! You can always cancel later. There is NOT a block of rooms reserved due to the shortness of reservation time. Rooms will be discounted to $69.00 per night. Ask for Linda. She is the group sales rep. This is a new location for us and will shorten our driving . The launchs will be the ramps next to the dam and are very close to the hotel. This location offers plenty of parking, restaurants, and fuel. Remember, it's the off season for swimming and the pools are closed.

So Gig, What other trips ya got in mind? And I guess since you didn't respond to my post on "The Darkside" I'll ask here, did any of your other choices make it home, or to the top o'the list? :p

We'll do the Tenessee River again as the leaves begin to turn but that depends on Mother Nature. As far as the choices.....I'll never tell!

and most certainly upgrade the holding tank for all of us..I threw mine overboard so I dont have to worry about when we catch air.

Red--- We'll be in the Cougar...... We can't really decide between the 575/XR or a 500efi and maybe a whipple later. I'm having trouble doubling the price of my boat with the exact same(or maybe less speed) with the 500 n/a. We flew to Wisconsin and tested a new 26 with the 575---awesome! not to happy with the colors though---it's a demo 2001. Need to sell mine. Not many boat shoppers this time of year. Except half of the people on here, and they all want vee's. :mad: Angie and I will see you guys on the river. Gerry

I'm new in the area and I have already seen a lot of Bite me's posted. Trying to figure out if you people love each other or hate each other. Would like to come to Lanier and meet you guys and see what this Bite me is all about. :confused:

Gerri..A suggestion..Look at DCB Mach 26..may want to call Dave out there,tell him I suggested you call..I almost bought one but changed only so I can use thew Warlock to race....he may take yours off your hands..he does GREAT deals if its winter work..just a thought..

The eliminator is kickass..dont get me wrong..something you can also do right off the bat with 500efi...change ecu and air filter..Arizona Speed has the hook up..all for about 600.00..a gain of about 20hp ..speak with them..I also have a brand new Quadiv Hydromotive 28..would be a good prop as well..would let ya have it for 375.00......I only used it when we went to Martin with ya cause I knew it would be flat water..

About the Bite Me thing, this group loves to hate each other. Just messing with you. This is a great group of folks. Lots of fun. One word of caution...don't get caught doing something wrong, like launching your boat with the props on the wrong drives. People around here will NEVER let you forget it.:D
