Default Lake Kerr, John Kerr Res. North Carolina

Can anyone tell me what the boating scene is like on Lake Kerr or lakes close to Raleigh NC?
Thanks for any input.

Haven't been there in years so it's likely changed but it's a nice lake where alot of the property on it is not able to be sold for private use. Depending on the season the water can fluctuate 30 feet up/down which is very rare on most reservoir lakes which also means few waterfront homes unless they are up on a hill. When I had my 382 there I could run from the damn to Clarksville (only real town) in under 20 minutes.

Note: Alot of people in this region call it Buggs Island so maybe add that to your title.
