Does anyone have any background info on this boat? It’s been listed for quite awhile, just looking for a reason why it hasn’t sold before I make the trip to go look at.

I don't know the boat, nor do I follow the values of this particular make/model. But, 40K for a nearly 30 yr. old boat might be the reason. I'd get a GOOD surveyor to check it out.

Don't know it but looks like a nice one from what I see. Triton Marina may do the engine work if kept there unless he does his own? You could call them and see if they know the boat. Elkton water is low salinity so not like ocean salt water but still be cautious with an older purchase. Have a marine surveyor check the hull and especially the stringers for rot. Many old Formulas have this problem and I learned the hard way when I bought mine years ago. Expensive to fix! Also engines need to test compression and assess corrosion issues. Same reason.
