OT. Cant wait till tomorrow............

.........its Pantera day. (The 4 wheel kind).

Always wanted one of them, and found an outstanding yellow 74' with a glassed-in GTS kit over in Canton. So, I go pick her up tomorrow morning.

Boat toys like to play with car toys right? :p

(CC...........time to take the Cobra on small roadtrip?)

Congrates...sound like fun.

pachangalpina 11-14-2003 12:03 PM

Anybody in the Cumming area have a Cobra? Been wanting one for some time and am thinking about the Superformance Cobra. I am going to talk to them some more at the PRI show in Indy in a few weeks. Anybody have any experience with the different kits?

Oh my Kaama you HAVE to show it to Red Warlock! He going to have an ABSOLUT fit!

That's one of his "dream cars"!

speedbump 11-14-2003 02:38 PM

Lucky guy! Make sure you post pictures!

mikev 11-14-2003 02:59 PM

hey kaamacat do you keep your boat at browns bridge mini storage?

kaamacat 11-14-2003 04:04 PM

MikeV.........sure do. I keep it down back at that lower level. When you come down the hill you are almost looking right at it....... (not bad either $60 for a 42long covered slot)

I have seen you in there then. I have a red and white donzi bowrider about halfway down the row from you. small world isnt it.

cougarcat 11-17-2003 09:01 AM

Congrats!

Bob,

Congratulations Bob it sounds real nice. They're real sharp cars. You're going to post some pics for us right? Make sure you give us a link because some of us (me) are too damn cheap to be able to look at pics on this board:D .
I think the Cobra driving days are getting few and far between. I'm going to pull the engine this winter anyway (pretty sad when the 3800lb GN with a 231cid will spank the 2400lb 396cid Cobra:mad: ) Time for a freshen up.

Pachangalpina--We have owned our Superformance #534 for 5 years now and love it. IMO--There's no equal. PM me if you want to talk. Gerry

kaamacat 11-17-2003 10:03 AM

Jerry. I put (3) pics from when I was looking at it a few weeks ago on my homepage. (check the PhotoAlbum area).

.............Now its time to do the bau tune-up stuff, oil, change out the plug wires...etc. (It has the original 351C in it, and the owner added a MSD 6A, Billet Dist, and a HollyPro-Jection4 unit........which is nice to have some of that stuff "moderned up").

Bob

cougarcat 11-17-2003 12:38 PM

Bob-- Very nice looking Pantera. It looks like it's been either very, very well cared for or has had a restoration. When you get a chance put up some more pics.
Yes, the pro-jection and the MSD will definately make it easier to live with. Best of luck with it.

OK, I'm officially jealous! Bob that looks SWEEEET!!! Does she run like she looks? And, if it's not what your looking for... I might be persuaded to take it off your hands. JK of course it is. :p Congrats my friend and enjoy!

mikev 11-17-2003 05:05 PM

thats one nice ride. hopefuly I will get to see it in person

SeaDated 11-18-2003 09:03 AM

Bob

SWEET!!!

kaamacat 11-18-2003 12:06 PM

Thanks for the nice words on the car.

(kinda strange some of the stuff you see that POs had done, some excellent, some make you scratch your head.............like seeing the initial timing at 22 which seems to be the only bad thing I seen so far).

......but man-oh-man, even with that timing set way off WOW is it quick...........wonder if its the 4:22s that are in the rear with the 5speed......and that Cleveland engine.

Bob

cougarcat 11-19-2003 05:47 AM

Bob--Don't worry about that setting........just advance it 'til it pings under high load and back it off a couple of degrees. I've seenm some at 30+ on the initial:eek: Let's see some more pics.
