Can't believe I did it

:( Listed my Midnight today, I have hopes to find a flat deck 37 I can customize or maybe a 38 Cig or Apache I can put quads on.

Have I completely lost my mind ?

It should hit the South Florida Trader on Nov 3, I'm still kinda undecided. It's a hard boat to replace. I would like to go to a closed deck 37 with interior. My buddy has his on OSO for 80K. They are also pretty hard to find. Either that or a 38 Cigarette I can refit.

We shall see what happens, it's definetly the best boatI've owned and I have had a few.

I saw that one. Very unique boats, each of them. How did you list yours at $$$ ?

Well in the rough stuff, not meant to fly. Mine weighs in at 12,500 100 gallosn of fuel. Cruises at 45 @ 4000 and 60 @ 5900.

Tommys boat is about 8-10 faster.

The cool thing is that you can do these speeds all day in 3-5 footers.

Had it iin 6-8's with the right wind direction you can still fly pretty good without getting your brains beat out.

Sorry, didn't mean speed wise. Meant at that price they should not last very long. Are you saying the 37 with quads will break 70MPH?

Re: Can't believe I did it

You would think so, we'll see. Only problem is both of us are pretty much undecided if we should sell or not.

The former Midnight comp put out # for quad 225 of 66-68, Tommy has told me he at that now with bottom paint and believes he can get more with prop work.

I am running stock 24 Bravo ones with trip 225 and hitting 60 (radar) Bottom paint also, the max was supposed to be 56-57 for mine. I think I couold get anoter 2-4 with removal of paint.

Powerboat did a test on a newer 39 with quad 300X's They were hitting 78 mph. I believe they were spinning 28 Bravo ones

Ready to buy mine??

I just sold my Cigarette last month and am looking for something exactly like yours -only in few months. Need to finish another project first.

Otherwise you, me and my surveyor would be going for a boat ride this weekend. No joke.

I don't see how this won't sell quickly. Your friends either. Those are impressive numbers for the boats that they are, with bottom paint no less.
