damn jayhawk....your boat out there? Thats how our neighborhood docks are sitting but my boat is still in storage in Nixa. You would think that the big marinas would be adjusted, no matter what, to be accessible.

Yeah, but it is leaving for dry doak tomorrow. They have left a paddle boat to get there. You can see it (yellow) in one of the pictures. I thought about taking out but then thought..... why.

If its sittin pretty then leave it.

I just havent had a chance to even get mine out. The lake is too full of crud to bother IMO....sticks and stumps floating around all over.

when i was talking to port of kimberling yesterday about drystack, they said they were short on help because everyone was out adjusting the docks. i was surprised they were just now doing it. or they may have had to do more adjustments from previous work

If they have the docks pulled in as far as they can go (which alot of docks are) then all they can do is releive presure on the anchor cables. As the water keeps coming up if the cables are not loosened the the anchors will shift or cables snapp. My guess is dock companies will have a very profitable year!
Any bets on how long they keep all the houses under water to get the lake back to a manageble level? IMO - might as well let them stay wet & get the lake to a point of being able to handle some rain instead of drying up & then getting flooded again in a few weeks. But what do I know:grinser010:
