Need to get my trailer repainted

Does anyone know a place near STL that could re-paint my boat trailer?

I have a some rock chips and corners starting to rust so I need to make her look good again.

Thanks for you help!

You might think about having it powder coated.

Do you know of a place with a large enough oven to do a trailer?

Call Union Towing in Union MO Mark Pisane sand blasted and painted my triple axle for under $1000. I had to remove the bunkers and lights.

Kruse Powdercoating at LOTO can also sandblast and paint trailers. His oven is not big enough to powdercoat it.

It is for a 34 Powerquest I did not measure but I would guess 36 foot.

I don't think powder coating would hold up that well on a trailer. From my experience, once you get a chip in the powder coating it starts to flake.

Thanks for the info...

I have tried to call a few places to see if they could powder coat the trailer and I get the same response. Oven is not big enough. I had several of my suspension pieces for my lift kit coated and loved it.

Do you have any pictures you can email me of your trailer being painted by those guys in Union? My email address is [email protected].

I talked with Charley from Blastco in O'Fallon area and he said $1,000 to sand blast and paint it. He did say a certain type of paint will hold up better to rock chips.

Thanks again everyone

We used to paint our car and motorcycle trailers with Imron. Held up very well to rock chips.

Ask them to put some flex agent in the paint and it will hold up much better. It allows the paint to stay softer, which in turn makes the paint dimple instead of chip.
