Im definetely going out to at least fish a while. I will post up what its like at the 42mm. Last weekend there a small amount of stuff around the 38mm but that was it. But since then the water came up about a foot and a half..

The first is of Jeff looking back, asking me who is coming back there?

The second is the Baja Islander gaining on him FAST!

The third is the look on his face after he got passed.:evilb:

I was out yesterday, ran from 14 to 29 and back...didn't have to dodge a single floater. Most of the debris is stuck along the shoreline, it must have been windy as they were dropping the lake.

I was on two demos today at the 3 mile marker early in a new 310SS and water from about the 3.5 to the dam was nasty. BUT went out in a 45 Yacht around 3:30 and it was all gone. Made several passes ended up at our Yacht club at the 1MM to load up 350 gal. of diesel and spent 30 more minutes running up and down the lake from the dam to the 5MM before going back to the marina at the 3MM. Have several more demos to do tomorrow on the new 350SS w/496 mags hope the water stays clean enough to get these done.

I saw Wild at Docknockers yesterday. He said you guys went out on the SeaRay.

Jass - Sandy has that picture on her camera....

Water was surprisingly clean this weekend I thought... Did most of our running from the Dam to the 6mm.

Had a couple of nice rides on the 48 this weekend...went out again tonight (Sun) from 6-7:30; other than the water being brown in color it was all good.

You were quite loud when you fired it up to leave Saturday. You were probably lucky the conservation guys weren't hanging around that area.:D

Mentalpause 04-07-2008 07:25 PM

It looked great when it came back in the Docknockers cove.

cullen_11 04-08-2008 02:01 PM

Just an FYI...got out Sunday and Monday and like others posted water was free of junk. Great to finally get to fire the engines!! Ran from 22 or so all the way to the 7 and didn't even see 1 stick in the water, let's hope it stays that way...not sure how to describe the color of the water though...gonna take quite a few drinks to get me in that crap come summer...

Mentalpause 04-08-2008 03:04 PM

Heard they opened the gates at Truman and it is now draining into LOTO. It will be interesting to see if that changes how much stuff is floating in the water.

Upper Hand 04-08-2008 11:58 PM

I ran from the 42.5mm to Captain Ron's at he 34mm on Sunday. There was some very small stuff in the water (mostly leaves and such). I think dodged once medium size stick. I never did see any logs per say..

Thats a good sign. But you guys are right. That water is like Chocolate Milk
