Fire at Glencove Marine 1mm
 

I got a note from Glencove Marine that a boat burned to the waterline at their 1mm location. Just my luck, it was on the dock where my boat's located. I wont get a chance to check it out for a week or two. Anyone got any info on it?

Im heading that way on saturday, I could check it out also.

I'm honestly not too worried.
If there was any damage to mine, there's not much that could be done anyway.
I was curious whos boats got damaged, the cause, etc...
Kind of surprised there's nothing in the Lake Sun Leader.

Did you call Glen Cove to get any info?

Yeah, they tell me that the damage was restricted to the burned boat and 2 adjacent boats.
But my canvas top is 12 x 20, I have an 8 x 8 sunpad, and a 10 X 4 canvas front seat cover. All of that exposed material makes me wonder if there's damage from cinders, especially since the boat burned to the waterline.

wild its a boat not a house probably a battery charger or heater sucks to be next to it!

I looked when I went by today could see one boat had some damage I diden't pull in looked ok for the most part.

Article says 3mm location.

Its a typo, it was at the 1mm.

Gary, I'll go and take a look at your boat this afternoon, I'll have Mark call/text what I find out.

Was there today, is was at the 3mm. Not a whole lot of damage. Too bad for someone though.

Looks like its on the opposite side, about mid dock.
I'm on the end of the other side. Guess I'll hope the wind was blowing the other way.
