Who can set me up right with a prop in Chicagoland?
I'm new to boats and have just started my first project. The prop is pretty much the last part of the project so getting one is probably a month away. I'd like to get an idea of where I will take it, so it would be nice to hear who you guys have had success with.
I'm not even sure how the process works. I'm assuming being I have no prop now I take it to a shop and they try different props?? Or do I just call a company like hering and tell them what I have and they tell me what to use? A newb question I know, but thanks in advance for any advise. ALSO......I'm planning on spending a month or two in the chicagoland area with friends and was wondering if my 26 cat would be able to make it on the poker run out of the hammond marina. I grew up boating on the great lakes but my family always had very large boats, the wave size wasn't so much of a concern when taking a trip (12-15's weren't fun though ) |
Give Jerry a call at AIR MARINE 773-582-0100 :ernaehrung004:

Give Brett a call at BBlades. He will get you darn close right off the bat and has a prop testing program.
