Help with repair/storage in MO
 

I just bought a boat and it needs a little work. I was told it needs a carb and the fuel tank cleaned out. I wont be able to use it this summer since I am currently in Iraq and was wondering what the advantages were of storing it by the lake vs. just keep it next to the house. Anyone have any suggestions of an all in one shop? Or a good shop closer to the FLW area? the boat is a 28' Sleekcraft Enforcer with single fresh rebuilt 454 MAG/bravo one.

Basically the boat needs to get winterized but the boat has to be in running condition to do that. Mine isn't since it is missing a carburator and the fuel tank needs cleaning. I figured I would wait til I come back to the states so I have been trying to find a local (Fort Leonardwood area) climate controlled storage large enough for my boat but can't seem to find one any closer then the Lake is. So that is why I figured I would just bring it to a marina and let them have it til next summer. I am pretty new to the boating world and was curious how much I can expect to pay for different services. I know mechanic labor is around $100/hr. Any tips or words of wisdom/advice would be appreciated. Is anyone on here affiliated with any of the LOTO marinas and could help me out with a rough estimate or suggestion. I am trying to find a marina that has a boaters interest in mind aswell as their own. I understand everyone needs to earn a living, I just don't want to end up at a place that suggest replaceing things that don't need to be replaced.
