I am really excited for this run! I have not been boating much this year! Anyway, keep an eye out for us and give me any directions that would keep us safe!

I've seen that dam that runs down the center of the river going to TGI Fridays. We went way north one time to get around it. Then we discovered the narrow channel that leads right to TGIs. Man that thing was a washing machine after two boats went ahead of us.

I also have a room/slip at the casino for Saturday. I'll be launching Saturday moring around 9:00, then heading over to Captains Table to register.

Any one want to go over as a group and show this out of towner the way to Capains Table?

just got off river, ran most of course and river is in great condition. No Trash!

May not make it there by 9. LOL
pull up a map search, google, yahoo, ect. and zooming in you can see the lateral. Directly across from casino marina is two red nav markers and a lighted rock pile, the cut through is between the marker and pile. otherwise launch and return to casino and me or someone will be there to go out as group.

I'll be getting there by 9. By the time I launch, park truck, and ready to roll, it will be closer to 9:30-9:45. I just want to make it to Captains Table with plenty of time to register, because I won't be there Friday night.

I'll look for some people, if I don't see any one I'm sure I'll find my way.

Take a ride upriver. ill will be locking through at that time. maybe you could follow me in. i may launch in bettendorf as well but im not sure.
