The not so official date for the white trash bash at Paradice Beach on the Illinois River at Peoria is Aug 13th. Check the Paradice Beach Facebook page for updates.
Last two weekends have been nice at the beach, especially last weekend since the water level has finally went down.

There will be a few there around 10am, with most rolling in around noon.

I got there at 2 last year and it was packed.

Don't bother getting there too early. I was out at 11 am a year or two ago, and was the second boat at the beach.

East Peoria Boat Club is also having their annual LUAU on the same date. The river should be just a little over 12ft(riverstage) so it is possible to get into their harbor by boat. Those not familiar with the upper lake should follow someone out of the channel. The guy I talked to from the club wasn't sure if they were having a band this year or a DJ. Last year JAMMSAMMICH was there.

Good thing I always have plenty of beer. :) Looking forward to checking it out up close. :cool:

Man, don't ever go by what the wx man says. It almost rained. Had some bad lightning pass just to the south and east. It was def. the biggest WTB so far.

Looks like a big crowd and lots of fun, if ya know Mack Dad (Todd), tell him joey said Hi.

Had to hitch a ride. Kind of a bummer. We were on the big Carver rafted up to a 38Cig and old runabout. We had a good time but I normally get my boat up to the beach.
I got some pics of the some of the guys with performance boats, esp the QC crew, as promised. I'll see if I can get em down loaded. Don't worry.....just boat pics, lol.

Yes it was. Next time those girls better eat some food though. I ate that stuff for three days, lol.
