Yes one Thursday and several on Friday. Thursday's is out of Larry's on the Lake at 9:00 - 3:00. Friday Wild is doing a fun run from Dog Days, Skaterfest, Smoke Break and the offical shoot out poker run will be going on. Lots to do.

Thursday info:

The benefit will be for Officer Fred Guthrie Jr.'s family, who is presumed, drowned.

Date: 8/25/11
Time: 9:30 am -- 3:30pm
Fees: $100.00 per couple
Benefit organization: Missouri Water Patrol/ Fallen Trooper's Family Fred Guthrie Jr.

Start at your own leisure from any one of the official locations (Larry’s on the Lake, Big Dick’s Half Way Inn or Haha Tonka state park). Larry's will be open at 9:00 am to facilitate any questions and to purchase Fun Run packets. Registration may be done by contacting www.Larrysonthelake.com with your email address, and a return email or phone call will follow, or by calling Larry's on the Lake at 573-873-5227. The entry fee will entitle participants to receive tokens, to be eligible for potential prizes at the end of the day, and for an Appetizer Buffet after 3:30pm at Larry's. Larry's will have a band during that time--and it will lead into their popular $.10 cent wing night special sponsored by the Coyote Radio Station. Each of the other locations will participate with Fun Run specials.

The proceeds from the entry fees will be donated to the family of the Water
Patrol officer.

The Ha Ha Tonka Location will have an anchored pontoon boat available to provide the tokens, as well as beverages and snacks if desired.

I've never done a porker run, but it sounds kinda fun... not sure how my g/f would feel about it, though!

I don't think I could "porker" while running.

But, I guess that explains the old saying, "Well Pork me running".

dbkski 08-23-2011 11:54 PM

Man I want to do a Porker Run!!!

Do I need to find some fat girls to put on my boat? :lolhit:

Is that how you Southern Boys do it? :evilb: :evilb: :evilb:

You should be fine in the official poker run, but could be a little scary in fun run. I tried to do fun run last year and had to back off. Scared the **** out of me in my 26' and I like it rough:lolhit:

Anything & everything from a 24 Baja outlaw to 50 foot cats running 160-170 MPH. Great events. I think the official poker run may have a speed limit but don't quote me on that. You might as well go if you are there!! Have fun! :drink:
