or they could go to the Captains Quarters Dry stak. Its right up river from green gables. On the same street |

Thanks for all the info. The boat sits high on the trailer and has to go deep, even for a 47.

Launched yesterday at Grren Gables. Launch was perfect. Boat floated right off the trailer. Picked up a little silt even though I had the motors trimmed up. Will have to flush the water system but that is no big deal. Will keep you posted on the retrieval Sunday.

Did some more research on this topic. Fixxxer is correct no huge drop just mud, so with the LWP of the fountain id suggest a radical idea to get the boat in the water if you wet launch it. Leave the engines completely trimmed up dont even turn them on and have a smaller boat pull you out about 15 to 20 feet from where you launch to deeper water. Same with the lift station for Green Gables the water is shallow id suggest have someone pull you out to the deeper water. Ive seen this done before with a few smaller performance boats with LWP they never have any problems with the mud.

I saw you at princeton! Glad you had a good time. Boat looks great. Sounded awesome when you took a fly by. Did olde dunbar in that 33 outlaw catch ya? It didnt look good for him when you were going by the beach upriver.

I posted a similar thread on the found board. I need to know the best ramp to launch a 47 fountain. It is on a Myco tandem dually trailer so it has to go deep. I've had some trouble on crappy ramps so I wanted to try and get info from those who know.
Thanks! |
