Illinois river?
 

Seen illinois river off 57 looks like a good time any input on boating there? We have been boating the chain for years just looking new places to go

Not sure where you are refering to. The Illinois River doesn't ever get anywhere close to I-57. The IL River actuall starts where the Des Plaines and Kankakee Rivers converge northeast of Morris, IL. There are lots of fun places on the river. We boat at Peoria. Plenty of activity on the down town riverfront, Paradice Beach and raft ups across from down town. There is a thread on here with info about the White Trash Bash on Aug 4th at Paradice Beach. Just like the chain, be careful outside the channel especially if your'e not familiar with the water depths.

Ok a friend actually went over it and said illinois river and 57 so for all I know it want either lol. Ashtrays wer are just trying to find new fun places to go any other suggestions

Well. I'm an IL river rat from Peoria but I did want to mention the MS river south of Clinon, IA. There is a nice area and it's pretty neat if ya go on down to the Quad Cities also. Just watch for the damn wing dams on Ole Miss.
