Best Pizza at LOTO

We're heading to LOTO later this week for vacation. While we've been going there for 15 years we've never found a great place for pizza. Curious what everyone considers the best place for pizza both on and off the water.

Off water JJ Twigs
On water haven't found a great one yet, a lot of good ones though. Papa Chubby's at 26 mm has a good pizza, also Larry's on the lake at the 31mm is very good.

Pappa Chubby's is decent (thin crust).... Franky & Louies is good, try the Sea Food Alfredo pizza.....Osage Bar & Grill (in Laurie) has good pizza....As mentioned above JJ Twiggs...

All the above are GOOD, not great, but decent... I'm a pizza snob though...prefer a thin crust coal fired pizza with unusual toppings.. Lots of good food to be had at LOTO.

LOTO Best Pizza

Probably the best I've found is Ivy Bend Restaraunt. 57.5 mm, though. not many boat slips, especially long ones. Long wait it's that good.

On land, Lil Rizzo's has very good pizza. Their house salad is awesome as well.

We really enjoy Alley Cats on land, it's on the strip.
On the water, We like The Fish.
Shawnee Bluff Winery has some great oven baked pizza too.

While all of the pizzas at F&L's is great, the seafood pizza is awesome. I also have liked the two pizzas that we have had at Pappa Chubby's this year. Until winter, it doesn't matter who has the best on land :)

New place on HH by land called Joe's Place. Right next to Ruthie D's. Awsome lake view and best pizza i've had down there in 13 years. F&L is decent for on the water.

I can't place this at all? What else is it by? Opens at 4:00 p.m. is that correct?

We're staying in Bristol Bay so we'll definitely give this a try.

It is in the little group of buildings across from the Carl's grocery store about 6 miles down HH from the business 54 intersection. Ruthie D's is a great place for dinner. Joe's is next door. I agree with Knot, we have been trying to find decent pizza down there for years and this was much better than Little Rizzos or JJ's in our opinion.

They are owned by husband and wife and open 4pm - 10pm. They deliver anywhere along HH. But nice place with great view to eat there. Here is an article on them

let us know what you think of it….

Bar opens at 4, restutant at 5. I'm suffering thru waiting. Bristol Bay condos are right in front of me. They said this place is rocking Thurs-Sat nights too.

Mentalpause 07-23-2012 05:03 PM

Didnt know that. We went around 6:30 or 7.

Outkast Rafe 07-23-2012 05:07 PM

ill be on the Lake Thur always looking for a new food spot.

eddie 07-24-2012 08:06 AM

Pizza was good, I'd go back. 14" pizza and three beers $19.95 and they deliver.

08 fastech 292 07-28-2012 07:06 AM

We ordered take out last night and I have to admit it's pretty darn good. I'm not a huge fan of the St Louis style very thin crust but the topping were fresh and the sauce was very good. 2 larges for $30 is a good deal. Definitely the best we've had here at LOTO.
