Place to stay for LOTO shootout
 

Where is a good place to stay for a few days for the LOTO shootout? I won't have a boat but would like a place to watch the shootout from the hotel or someplace close by. Any info would be great.

deepwater in is a motel by the shootout,can walk to captain rons.Never stayed there but been by many times.Or call captain rons see if he has anything open ,would not bet on it.Or if you have a dd stay in osage beach, check out vrbo.com

Captain Rons is on a well over a year waiting list for cabins for the shootout deepwater is not bad but you cannot see the actual runs from there. but they do have busses that run to captain rons and you can watch the runs on the jumbotron. there are some bluffs people watch from but its prolly peoples back yards.

Yes I know you can't see the race from there , but there are not a lot of places to stay on that side of the lake , best view is by water

We rented a cabin from Sunset Inn Resort, it looks like you can see the runs from there... hopefully
