Best Area to Stay???

We are coming there for Memorial Day and want to know the best place to rent a house at? We are all mid 30's with no kids and enjoy party coves and bars/bands on the water. There are many houses for rent on this lake and we just want to know what area or city is close to these types of things so we can be local to it all. Thx.

Mid 30's and no kids??? I'm glad somebody else has their priorities straight. Yes the party is usually around the 20-8 mm lots of places to party. Just look for a good place to tie the boat up at night. Pm me if you need a drive by on a place

Anywhere between the 7mm and 26mm on the Osage Beach or Lake Ozark side of the lake.

How many people??? You would probably be better off with a condo if you have 8 or less people.

Look for a condo at Land's End thru VRBO. Right in the middle of everything.

VRBO is exactly what we've been looking at. trying to keep it lake front homes instead of condos. there will be 3 couples... maybe 4. What mm is party cove at? And does this lake ever get low or is it a constant depth? thx guys.

Party Cove is in the Grand Glaize arm of the lake at about the19-20mm. The lake is plenty deep everywhere your planning to go.

660 ft. is normal pool. Right now it is at 655.9ft. Ameren usually drops the lake 5 feet or so in the spring to allow for snowmelt and spring rains and to facilitate spring shoreline cleanup. It should be close to full pool when you are down there. There are spots over 100 feet deep in the main channel. Plenty of water. Just don't cut any points close and you should never, ever touch bottom with your boat.

Party cove is in Anderson Hollow Cove in the State Park area of the lake. If you click on the arial map on the Ameren site, you can search by coves and it shows you exactly where it is at.
