Best Area to Stay???
We are coming there for Memorial Day and want to know the best place to rent a house at? We are all mid 30's with no kids and enjoy party coves and bars/bands on the water. There are many houses for rent on this lake and we just want to know what area or city is close to these types of things so we can be local to it all. Thx.

assume there is loto...
osage beach |
X2 Osage Beach around the 20mm tons of bars around there and close to party cove.

Mid 30's and no kids??? I'm glad somebody else has their priorities straight. Yes the party is usually around the 20-8 mm lots of places to party. Just look for a good place to tie the boat up at night. Pm me if you need a drive by on a place

Anywhere between the 7mm and 26mm on the Osage Beach or Lake Ozark side of the lake.
How many people??? You would probably be better off with a condo if you have 8 or less people. |
Look for a condo at Land's End thru VRBO. Right in the middle of everything.

VRBO is exactly what we've been looking at. trying to keep it lake front homes instead of condos. there will be 3 couples... maybe 4. What mm is party cove at? And does this lake ever get low or is it a constant depth? thx guys.

Party Cove is in the Grand Glaize arm of the lake at about the19-20mm. The lake is plenty deep everywhere your planning to go.

The party cove is at the 4 mm on the Grand Glaize arm. The Grand Glaize comes into the main channel at the 19 mm. At that intersection is Dog Dayz. They have inside and outside bar/ restaurant, and live music. Backwater Jacks is at the 17.5 mm. Great food, live music, more of a "local" hangout. It's a great place for lunch or dinner then go else where for the late night drinkfest. "Toad Cove", at the 7 mm, has the Horny Toad which is a large complex with multiple restaurants bars and live music. Across the cove is Shady Gator's, another restaurant and bar. Those are the main ones in that area. If you feel like boating a couple of miles there are many great places to take a ride eat some lunch and grab a drink. Big Dick's 47 mm, The home of the "Shootout" Captain Ron's 34.5 mm, Fish and Co. 3mm on the Linn Creek arm which comes into the main channel at the 31mm. These are just a few of the many places to eat and drink on the water. The best night life would be Dog Dayz and the Horney Toad complex. :party-smiley-048:

The right condo will have the same amount of space, a much better view, good protected docks, pool, and cost significantly less. There is also a much larger selection of condos. BTW, Party Cove is pretty much dead anymore except for a bunch of drunk sausage boats. |
