LOTO Local Surveyor

I put an offer on a boat and the owner accepted the offer pending survey and sea trial. I need some help getting a hold of a reputable surveyor in the area that does good work. Also I am looking to get a survey done on the mechanical aspect with a compression test and leak down test. Anyone have any suggestions?

The boat doesn't come with a trailer what would be the best option to find one down there? Craigslist?

Performance Boat Center or Lake Ozark Marine can handle the mechanical inspection and recommend surveyors
They both can order new trailers or may have some used.

First of all congrats on the new boat, what size trailer do you need? Just be sure the shop you choose has certified Mercruiser and Mercury Racing technicians, our shop does mechanical inspections all the time. Contact AJ in service at 573-873-2300 to set something up. The best local surveyor is David Davis, 573-216-0742.

Thanks, The trailer would need to fit a flat bottom cafe racer. I usually do rack n launch in my area and prob take 3-4 trips about 600 miles round trip. I will keep it on the trailer during the winter using dry heated storage. The motors that are in it I believe are hawk motors and I do believe they were rebuilt by a guy named Eickert? Still waiting on the paperwork on the motors with build sheets.

AJ will take good care of you- if he isnt too busy following me around. PBC repaired a couple issues with my boat last summer.

When I bought my boat it was sitting in LOTO the guy I used was excellent and very detailed I think he did something like 200+ pictures and videos and kept me informed on what was going on.
