Default Where to stay at LOTO

I would like to take my wife and boat to the Lake of The Ozarks this year for vacation. Where would be a good place to stay that also has a slip for a powerboat that is in the middle of the fun. This would be our first vacation with our new boat and I would like to make it a nice time for her so she will want to do more traveling with the boat. She is happy at our place on the Tennessee River and I want to see new places.
Thanks AJ

I like the TanTara. It's reasonably priced, lots of parking for the truck/trailer, ramp and slips. Also good food. Very centrally located.

Many Options for Larger Resorts( w Docks)

Camden on the Lake
Lodge of Four Seasons
TanTara Resort

And then you might find a home/condo on VBRO

It's whether you would rather stay at a resort or a condo, you could always check VRBO, there's lots of reasonably priced condos at the Lake.

All the places mentioned above are nice.

I'd also add Land's End and Parkview Bay. Look for those condos on VRBO.

Best bet is to make as many friends as you can out there the first time you go, so you can stay with friends whenever you go back. Nothing like hangin with the locals !

Land's End is nice, pricey but nice. Stayed there last weekend which was the last weekend for the "off-season" pricing. Only way i can afford to stay there.
The Ledges is another large complex with plenty of room options & slips. Heron Bay is another option.

If you are looking to be centrally located Tan Tara is a great option. Lands end and the ledges are great locations for Condo rental. Osage Beach is where most everything is at.

Been to quite a number of them, and hands down my favorite is Holiday Shores Resort. Decent priced, close to everything, nice private no-wake cove, and you get your own 3-story cottage! Nice ramp and covered slips as well. Their website does not do it justice, it really it's a nice place
