Whoop! Forgot about Millers. Guess I would eat breakfast at Miller's, turn back around two miles and then hit Paradise for the view.

Thinking this out makes me want to get a hotel at the lower numbers and let someone else have my house for a weekend so I can make this trip.

Where do you guys suggest launching at? Have a 23' outlaw and a 26' pontoon.

The house we rented is really close to Shady Gators.

PB2 in the state park area. For a slight fee you can leave your trailer there also.

That's a haul!! About 32 miles round trip from the house we are renting. I was thinking there would be something closer.

Aren't you going there to boat?! Call here. It is close by and they should let you launch and might be able to store the trailers too.

I meant 32 miles round trip by vehicle. We have a house that has plenty of parking and we are here for 8 days. So I probably won't be leaving the boat in the water for 8 days straight, nor do I want to leave a truck and trailer parked for 8 days at a public lot. Not to mention when I do want to take it out it would be a 32 mile round trip drive. I was just thinking there would have to be something closer to the house. Obviously we ARE HERE FOR BOATING! Thank you for the suggestion.

Leaving the boat in the water is no big deal. Where are you from? Cause boating around LOTO is a totally different experience then what you may be use too. PB2 is probably your best bet for sure on a good ramp. There really is no public ramps closer too shady gators.

We normally boat the Chain o Lakes north of Chicago. Someone mentioned Bergers Marine as well. Thank you all for the suggestions.

You could try Point Randall Resort. They are at the 2 mm (horseshoe bend). They might be able to help, they have their own ramp and might be able to keep your trailer for the week if they have room. I am not sure what fee they may charge but they are great people and are very trustworthy. Also in that area is Glencove marine, I think they are at the 4mm.
