looking at it we wont be too far from toads and shady gators LOL...didn't even look at that till today. We looked for a large home on the water with boat slips with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us and the young adult kids...every other year we go on family vacation with my parents, my 2 brothers , sister and brother-in-law and our young kids (all are 19-26 now)

On the weekends you will find quite a few people coved out together and swimming in Witches Cove - the long cove at the 4MM. We are in the furthest back part of that cove, you can watch the golfers putt out on the 13th green. |

thanks for the info...we will have to try and meet you while we're there...only been one other time and that was for the shootout when our sunsation was new to us in 2010. Loved the lake but the wife was a little spooked by the wave action that weekend LOL

Tell her not to worry. Early June will be way different. Weekend will be nothing like Shootout weekend. And during the week there will be few boats out. You may want to check out Backwater Jack's this time there. They put up a new pool/bar which is quite nice. One of the better places to eat off water is Casablanca. It is more of a locals place down on the strip. Very good food, and probably the best pizza at the lake. Reasonably priced for food and drink.
