Road Trip to Loto

I’m thinking about a road trip to Loto this summer (not taking the boat) to look at some houses in the area to maybe retire to in the near future.I don’t have to be on the lake maybe a few miles off the lake, what would be a good area to look houses and when would be the best to come out there? And maybe catch a boat ride.

That is a loaded question. What are you looking for? The lake is 100 Miles long with 1500+ miles of frontage. House, Condo, how big? Want to be in quite area or action? Most important, what price range do you want to be in?

Definitely a house 3 bedrooms in a quiet area with some ground.

I'd get hooked up with a local realty agent and get some email feeds meeting you're specs sent to you

That is wide open.... As for the lake areas: Osage Beach/lake Ozark area is more business oriented, West side is more old tourist area. The area is mostly rural with a lake thrown in the middle. Paved roads are something you will want to consider as well. As most of the rural settings will be unpaved roads. Again, a price point is really where you want to start. There is very little inventory so if you want something nice out of town, you may want to consider land and building on it. Our prices are extremely reasonable considered to the east coast and realestate taxes are cheep!

Example, this is a spec home we are currently building in my subdivision in Osage Beach. It is 1350sqft finished with a full walk out unfinished basement, turn key move in for $219k in a 30 lot subdivision w/paved roads etc. Taxes will be less than $1500/yr (estimated)

Our old flier, Since this was printed we have decided to build it out ourselves. Tract C is sold, and Lot 20 is the spec house. I have numerous plans that we can put on the lots with a turn key package in the low to mid 200's. Or if you have a plan in mind, we can build it for you. Look us up on FB: LOTO Contemporary Homes.

Finding houses below $200 in our area with today's market, that is not manufactured housing or a fixer upper will be tough. There are more rural areas that will have lower prices, but that is the trade off. That is why it is important to come see the area you want to be in, then start looking from there. There is a number of good realtors in the area, if you would like a referral, pm me.
