Thinking about selling my Motion

So I have been pondering selling my 30 Motion. My Girl Friend thinks I am crazy but the extra money would be really nice in the next six months for when we start production of the Diesel Outboard.

I have put so much money into it that I know I won't get it all out, but I was wondering what its worth. Its a 2002 30 motion with 300x's. Approximatly 275 hours and super clean. The best the boat has ran is 104 mph.

Also if someone wanted my truck too I would entertain the idea of selling that too? Its a 2007 Nissan SE 2WD in perfect condition with 25,000 miles, Custom Stripes to match the boat, 22's and firestone air bags in the rear with on board compressor. Tows the boat great and good on gas. Has anyone had success selling the combination truck/boat/trailer?

Any help on an approximate valve would be great. This way I can get an add going in the Classifieds. Attahced are some pictures from other threads.

I wish you success on your new diesel outboard bro!

Thanks I have put alot of thought and time into this boat! By far it has been the most fun boat to drive that I have ever owned. I am sure I will kick myself in the ass if/when it sells.

Yeah it is an exciting time for us. But with the expense of going into production I just don't know if it is a good idea to have a boat sitting around. It still amazes me how much it costs to open the doors to a manufacturing facility.

What a great boat. From the pics, you have done a awesome job with her. We were hoping to get a chance to run together.

I am considering the next FMO fun run Dec, 8 to South Seas Plantation. Depends on weather and if my wife will get in the Skater. She has not been in 4 of my last 5 boats, and her last boat trip was in 2001 in my 37 OuterLimts, a fun run in NJ to Atlantic City.

If we do attend, I will post our info in the FMO fun run thread, most likely on Fri.

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah I really like my motion and I am sure I will regret it if I sell it. I will be at the run this weekend but not with my motion. I have some mechanical problems that I need to take care of before running her again. It will be ready by the January 1st run. This weekend I will be taking my parents 382 formula. It will be more of a relaxing run. Looking forward to meeting you!

If we come this week, I am looking for a nice relaxing ride. I will hopefully have my wife and 11 year old with me, and I am not planing on running hard with them in then boat. Depending on seas, may run entire event on inside. We will see if things work out for us to attend.

J/K- hope you have a safe and fun run! :D

Are you kidding, it's chilly here today, only 72, but still bright and sunny. For us, thats cold, especially compared to the mid 80s we have had for the past several weeks.

I hope you all enjoy the pics I post from time to time. I am enjoying my boat, and I like to share that through pictures.

You are so right! It was cold this morning! I am orginally from Minnesota and could handle below zero temps. Now after two years here if it drops out of the 80's I am cold........ go figure

Don,

I guess that is good news, I know you will miss her.

Get cash in you hands, before she leaves.

Yes that is great advice. We are actually using an exporter for the deal who is based in Miami. The exporter is buying the boat from me and then ships the boat to SA. The money will be wire transfered into my account today.

Don't worry me selling the boat. I have a few tricks up my sleves for the next few months. I am building two boats with Diesel Outboards! Both will be cats! The next Fort Myers fun run will be a lot of fun!:evilb:

So the "cat" is out of the bag, diesel outboard cats!

Are you talking hi-perf cats, or fishing cats?

For me it will be Hi-performance cats. But, the technology can be used in the fishing market too. I will fill in the details later this month.
