I've seen the boat and its amazing, the paint it bad aszzzzz...Someone is going to have a bad boyyyyyyyy...

It will not be the same price as an MTI.

Personally, I love the looks of it - the windshield is more similar to a Fountain 42PR than it is an MTI. Sweet ride.

And where did the MTI come from?? Not knocking MTI, i love them but......If you want the true facts call Larry Goldman. The owner of the 398 is looking to sell so someone should jump on it!!

Is MTI a copy, YES, it is a copy of the Victory race boats that Randy built and raced in Dubi(spelling). The cockpit started out as nothing more that a 4-seat race boat with the top cut off. The new ones are totally Randy's design and his desire to build a userfriendly boat.:cool-smiley-026:

Thats right, im guessing thats why the letters are VIC in the vin of the MTI's?? I never said anything about a skater copy or anything. The 398 doesnt look anything like an MTI in person. It has more of a 38 doug wright look to it. Ginos 39 was sitting right next to it at Larrys shop. The canopy/windshield was designed by a fellow company of those who did it for the OL cat. I spent the majority of the Miami show in the MTI booth. They are the ones to beat now a days!! This Motion will be a great alternative for less coin!

Very nice looking boat either way. So what will this boat cost with Merc 700's/#6.

Does not look anthing like an MTI to me. Cockpit is not even close. If it is a cat hull it must be splash of a Skater and if it has a windshield it must be a splash of MTI? Why does this never come up with V hulls? After all everyone know every fast v-hull boat is a Cigarette splash. Ask anybody on the street about a load, fast v-hull they are all Cigarette boats! What characteristics does it have?? Since it has a wrap around windshield it's an MTI copy?? Have you even seen the boat?? if your really interested on real pricing gice Larry a call and im sure hell give you some numbers!!

Im must be blind but it doesnt look anything like one. The cockpit is totally different as is everything. I was in the boat right next to a 39 and they look nothing alike. They are cheaper than an MTI i know that for a fact. Im pretty sure you cant get the 40 MTI with 700's for 499k anymore. still the Motion is cheaper.

Ok then, i wasnt sure if they were still offering them at that price point. Still the Motion is cheaper. I was told some numbers on the new 36 and the Motion will still be cheaper.

It appears we need some clarity on the new 39` Motion, My understanding is at $280,000 it includes number 6 dry sumps installed, kevlar layup, full cabin, and the paint job by Grafic EFX Chris Dilling. Motors were left out due to the fact that many people have there own, or have a specific builder they prefer to use, and many prefer a certain rigging co.
I think if you add everything up that the motion has and compare apples to apples the Motion will be much less. Also for clarity, the 39` is a highly modified 35` Motion, wider tunnel etc. big boat. R.I.P. 7XCHAMP

Correct: I don`t talk about other peoples products, as I am very close friends with all the various MFG`s we all used to race together. If anything I admire the work they have done and continue to do. They set the Marks for the rest to follow. It`s a big world and there is plenty of business to go around.
