Sweet boat.... but why is it that anytime a new cat comes out, everyone says "looks like the hull is a copy of the Skater hull" outside of the fact that its a cat and the bottom has steps, what exactly makes it look like a copy of a Skater hull?

Looks awesome. I don't think it looks like anything else out there. The closest thing would maybe be the Nor-tech Roadster.
