lowblu what do you make of this.? You know this boat some.

I would check props before changing things around, this boat was dialed in with different props and I never personally ran the boat. Scott from Intense rigged the boat and from what I have heard the boat ran hard back then. Keep in mind Motions "becuase of their not so tall tunnel" tend to ride better going against the wind with a little chop. Being that you have wet sixes, I would tend to believe that the motors would have to be a little foward to balance the weight of the drives and gimble "which weigh alot", but again I am not sure. That is one of the main reasons why when my friend built mine, he raised the tunnel up a foot in the front straight back with no belly. Here's a pic so that you can see what Motion did.. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/m...om-what-2.html
this helped getting on plane and airing out....

The other #6 boats hav an 18 to 22 inch shaft. They rigged this boat way farther ahead than that. I have run 5 blades and 4s. I have run into the wind and chop, on flat water, with a tail wind, you name it. It simply cant stay flat without alot of negative trim. I had Brad Schoenwald in the boat too. I am confident in Larry on this one. I'm gonna go ahead and move the motors. "Lube Jobs" and others are running really well with the motor on an 18 inch shaft. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Someone make me an offer on this boat! It's ready to go. May have a new boat lined up but this one has to sell first! Can't have three of these things!

Prob a big Vee for the room again. You can't beat the ride and handling of a cat though so you never know!:D
