So he wants to go from a boat really worth 10k to a million dollar mystic! These people crack me up.

I don't care what dreams he has . I would like to move up and someone has to know what's the history? repaired or sank I have seen it for 15,000 and always wondered if the three o/b's work on these and are somewhat reliable.

That boat was called Notorious back in the day and used to race pro stock class in the late 90s. It had a single canopy with driver in front of throttleman. It was competitive and used to be maintained by Scott Mander of SC performance.

I thought about redoing this boat about 6months ago. So i called the guy. He is really hard to talk to and I asked him to send me some pictures over of the boat. He sent me one picture and all it showed was the cockpit basically all cut up and fiberglass pieces screwed together. I figured it would take way too much money to fix it right. If it was me and I was in the market for a project i would be looking hard at that 32 Skater for sale for 38K and it has 3 2.4's on it. Part out the engines and install either twin 300x's or 300xs's.

That looks like a deal, those 2.4's can be made to run, but are gas hogs, I would go with twin Xs's, and a cleanup for a really nice low budget reliable Skater

thanks you guys, I will look at it during the boat show . I could fix the inside up somewhat inexpensively, if the hull is not all stressed out and run two 300"s? If it looks ok, I hope he dosen't get too insulted with my cash offer.

How right you were. 2nd time I have talked to him and no pics. has been in the sun for 5 years. Trailer is steel and needs work deck has what he said was grey bondo spots. Scot mander did some work on it, so some of it must be done right. Can you post that pic he sent you if you still have it. just liked the 35' length, light weight, but that skater is a deal.

I didn't save the pictures. I opened the email, laughed at how bad the interior was cut up and deleted the email. From everyone I talked to that boat is light becasue all the stringers were cut down to save weight. I wouldn't waste you time on this boat. I would go after that Skater.
