I have not seen the boat in person, but I have heard the conversion was done nicely.
I believe the boat was originally a diesel/arneson set up. Now Sterling/#6 obviously. I spoke to Scism about the boat about 6 months ago ... he seemed skeptical about the project, but didnt really comment too much on it. I could tell he wasnt fond of it, but for some reason I got the feeling that Randy just didnt like the fact that the factory didn't do the project themselves. Which I can understand. My opinion is if the boat runs a acceptable number, handles properly, and quality looks good to the eye... its a heck of a deal. Theres a thread on here that has photos from start to finish of the whole 6 seat conversion. |
