48 MTI Raising the Steaks is Here!!
I was fortunate enough to be present for the delivery of SummerOs bad new G6 48 MTI with 1350s. He's in the cattle business and the interior was designed to reflect that. The design and finish is elegant and luxurious and not too over the top or cartoonish. The boat rides like a dream in the LOTO slop and accelerates like a beast. Unofficially 171mph at 6250 rpms and testing has just begun.
MTI and SummerO have created a masterpiece and just gave you another excuse (if you really needed one) to come to the LOTO Shootout. Here is a short video. I'll try to get Eddie to post the pics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE8531K32bQ |
Nice ride. Simple & clean
|
The boat is even more impressive in person. Congrats on the new ride!!!

OK No spelling error on STEAKS... Gorgeous BOTE by the way......................... |
I was at Nauti Marine a week ago last Thursday when we heard something bad ass lay n it down. A few of us dropped what we were doing and ran to the window to see it go by. We all agreed this is a great looking boat. Can't wait to see it on the docks..
|
Was this boat running last Thursday 7/31 or Friday 8/1. I was down at LOTO and swore I saw this boat on Thursday runnning (or maybe it was Friday...the days blur together at my age!!).

Its funny how pix can misrepresent a boat. The pix of this boat look amazing but Ill bet it does the boat no justice. On the flip side Ive seen some real POS that look really nice. Congrats to the new owner

Just a quick nearly end of season wrap up: we put around 30 hours on the boat in a few weeks, over 2000 miles, and countless gallons of 93 octane through the new boat with ZERO issues!
We spent quite a bit of time dialing the new boat in with the new 8R drives and have now struck a great balance of speed, acceleration and handling. So far I haven't found anything I would change on the boat, even little things, and that's a bit unusual for me as I can't seem to leave things alone! :picard1: Now to put a ton more hours on it and enjoy! Maybe it will head south this winter.......... |

Guys, I am going to bring back a decade old thread!
But, I always loved this boat back when it was built. I also loved the previous SummerObsession Skater 40 classic. whatever happened to both of those boats? Where are they now? Were they replaced with something current? |
