Default Building a new Mystic

I am building a new Mystic 38 cc. I am planning on triple 400's. I am looking for feedback cruise speed/ top end and over all ride impressions. I am setting it up with the double row of bolsters. I wanted to now thoughts on other must have items. This my first new boat build and I am very excited. I looked hard at the 39 Nortech as well but just kept coming back to the Mystic.

Check how many sea keepers have been replaced under warranty, and how many people are suing them right now for having to cut up brand new boats to replace them. Also in a boat like that the sea keeper will still be spinning up to speed when you’ve reached your destination, and last it’s typically sea keeper or a generator in a big “cc” both won’t fit.

We have both gen and seakeeper in our Intrepid. After having one, I wouldn’t own a center console or cruiser without one. You start it up first thing when you get to the boat, it only takes like 20 minutes to spool up.

Adam are you getting soft as you get older?? I thought I thought of all possible options and the seakeeper never crossed my mind.

What did Cosker recommend when you spoke with him? He isn't the type to up-sell just for making the bank account sing unless its a benefit to the customers end use expectations and will give an HONEST opinion of the benefits or alternatives... he's run everything he has in production and combinations

I have deposit and build date. I will see John at the Lauderdale show this week. I set the boat up with 3 400's double row of bolsters the larger screens. Pretty excited about the boat, this is also my first new boat build. John is a quality guy and I believe he will shoot me straight. I was just wondering if anyone out there had a 38 or 42 Mystic and they wish they had done something one way or another. Thanks!

Not Mystic related, but I wish my cc had a bow thruster. Much easier to manage around the dock in windy conditions - particularly if you're moving the boat alone.

I have built, sold and run quite a few 38 and 42's. Personally i wouldn't do the 2nd row bolster in the 38 as it takes up valuable deck space ( do the rear facing seat ).

Any updates on this build? Still going with 3 Merc 400's? Is there room to add a 4th engine just in case we want to go faster?
