As far as the post-processing is concerned... it's called 'artistic license'.

Just doing my thing... And that includes shaping an image the way I feel like it should be shaped depending on any number of things; including the subject matter, lighting, what I had for breakfast, humidity and image quality as well as the quality of the chit in my pipe.

Every photographer sees things differently and processes his images differently. I'm just trying to tell the story as I see it and in an interesting way. If you want perfection, head on over to Pete's thread- his stuff is always razor-sharp and as close to technically perfect as you could ask for.

Hold on a sec...

I could elaborate on my energy level during the edit cycle, also, too.

After a multi-day event like LOTO or Key West, it can take days or weeks to get through a few thousand shots. I could look at things differently at any two given moments.
