How can I thank you guys enough?
Wow- I am just overwhelmed by all the comments, pm's, texts, facebook posts... geez- I just don't know what to say.
Thanks is all I can think of. You guys are the best.
So... as it turns out there is a bright spot in all of this.
When we got out into the big lake and I had to turn around, as we were idling back to the channel-
the fast group just happened to be breaking out.
Well, you know how I am when I hear big blocks and see roostertails.
The pain was really starting to kick in right about then, and although I could hardly hold the camera up, just couldn't bring myself to put it down.
More coming later, they are keeping me for another day so I'm moving out of icu shortly- gotta pack up the office.
Also, I'm riding the yeehaw button as often as I can, plus they are giving me all kinds of pain pills... so if the processing may be a bit off.
I don't care, which you will never hear me say again.

Hit that button as many times as you can.... That's what it is there for. Have they had you up and walking yet? Believe it or not, once you can, no matter how uncomfortable it is, it will make you feel better to take a quick walk around. I know after my surgery, it hurt like hell. But getting up and just walking a few feet outside of my room made my legs and the rest of my body feel better. Take the meds, hit the button and get well soon. Have you nodded off yet, mid sentence on the laptop? When I was in for my surgery, I had emails to take care of. I would hit the button, start an email, nod off for a few minutes, then wake back up and continue my email as if nothing had happened. My wife said it was one of the funniest things she had ever seen....
