Brett is an unsung hero no one knows how he risked our lives and the race to save that sea turtle that popped up in front of us in the turn. The little guy popped his head up and looked at us with sheer terror in his eyes when he saw the red beast coming at him and Brett being the true professional that he is with the eyesight of an owl and the reflexes of a rattlesnake made the snap decision to spear that buoy instead of our dear friend in the water. Brett and I were very pleased with the life saving decision that he made and celebrated by parading the buoy around the course in a true competitive fashion being almost completely blinded by the giant orange pillow flapping in our faces. We appreciate jay taking such great photos of the incident and we would like to purchase some. Jay I think you have my number if you don't let me know because I can't find yours.
