The CMI 496 headers should work on any application.
With an exchange on the tails and a build sheet we
should be able to make tails to fit any application

Headers for 2008 Fountain 35 Lightning with staggered 496 HOs?
Hi,
I got a 2008 Fountain 35 LGT with staggered 496 HOs, which is kind of a sweet set up, but it looks pretty tight with the silent choice installation.
My question is if anybody has any experience on putting in any aftermarket exhast in this type of boat? It looks like the tailpipes need to be as short as possible due to 1) the silent choice on the starbord engine close to transom is very close to the risers and 2) due to the close installation of the two engines, starbord front is really close to the left rear.
I am having the CMI 496 sport tube headers in mind or other similar exhaust systems.
I am looking forward to hearing any comments and suggestions you might have.
