Re: Wiring Harness's
is each wire labeled?
|
Re: Wiring Harness's
Standard color coding. If you need a schematic with this I can copy my a Merc manual.
The boat main harness has one plug each end. No brainer. Engine and panel harness have a molded plug one end and standard color coded wires the other. Trim harness is the same deal, plug one end, pig tails the other. |
Re: Wiring Harness's
I will check my out over the week. I haven't seen the plug from the dash too the other set of wires

Re: Wiring Harness's
Is this for your Fountain? If so look in the gunnels adjacent to where your right elbow sits. Look under the dash and you should be able to see a service loop of wiring that will be tied up. If you pull it (gently) out you should get the plugs (one starb, one port). You may need to pull the side panel but I've never needed to on a Fountain.

Re: Wiring Harness's
It's a rectangular 8 pin molded connector, 1 female 7 male.

Re: Wiring Harness's
ok.....how much is the female end for the engine?
|
Re: Wiring Harness's
Do you have to buy the whole boat harness?
Is it available in like a 24 inch? |
Re: Wiring Harness's
tomtbone1993,
Engine side is $89.95 |
Re: Wiring Harness's
knot-right,
We can do a special at 24" or what might be better would be a boat side without the rectangular plug and you can wire direct to the guages. Either way, it's up to you. Fionn |
