I understand it to be this way

Zinc - Saltwater Brackish
Aluminum - Fresh Brackish Salt
Magnesium - Fresh (too reactive for salt water), brackish kinda ok but not recommended.

But my thought is that if you're in an cathode anode relationship caused by someone's line in the water with a hole in it, zinc or aluminum would be just fine.

I'd like to know of some real life experiences. Science is science, but real life usually trumps... :-).

So US1 which one did you go with? I need to replace 2 sets on bravo 3's in Lake Erie.
