Is there a warbird V? |
Re: Fastest Nor-Tech V
Man, I'm just going to put 3 of Tyson's big yellow cat twin turbos in my 50 take out the cabin, gen and run 150mph at the shootout, just joking 104 is fast enough, I would think a 39 with Ron's new 1150 efi's should run 125 or so.

The boat went on to consistently run 140, and on one memorable run to Key West, outside in the open ocean in 4-footers, blew away a 40ft Skater that was supposed to have been a 150mph boat. Probably was just good driving, but the boat was consistently about 140.
And yes, technically there was a Warbird V. Or maybe not, depending on your opinion. After the 50' cat (Warbird IV), I went back to the Warbird III, but with new motors, new rigging, new paint, and new instruments. Y'all can opine all you want, but it was my boat, and my money, and I choose to say that there was a Warbird V! So until you pay the bills, kindly keep your opinions to yourselves. Thanks, James. |

Jassman, it seems as if you are a Nor-Tech dealer?? If so, a little history about your brand is a good thing. :D Warbird III had quad Innovation 850's on 4 sixes. Motors were built by Innovation when Ron Potter was still there. Ron now builds the Nor-Tech motors. Perfectly. James |
