I had 5's on my last 4300v, they were bullit proof. I know they are not a 6, but defeniatly better than a bravo drive. Placement of this drive is very important . They do suck more power, a little harder to plane off and so on but they have a tranny and can take more abuse. My take on boating is reliability, and being on the water. Top speed is important (HINT HINT. TS I want at least 80 or put it up for sale :evilb: :D ) but I'll give a few mph over reliability.

I'veseen 98.9 GPS with 4 big guys and 3/4 full of gas so I would think it should see 102-103 under the right conditions. mine "cruises" nice at 100.. the 36 seem happy at 95 +, 100 in these boats is nothing. (in feeling anyway) |
