Thanks John, They are going out Monday to see what she does, hopefully it will hit 80+ right out of the box. ....This is what was done differently vs the first 485hp diesel 4300. Lighter layup, 6" exhaust vs 5", slightly larger vent tubes, 18 degree rake Herings for slightly more bow lift, removed the notch in the transom to move motors as far back as possible and raised the x-dimension 1/4"....I told Terry to use it for the week-weekend and put as many test hours on her as possible. Then Pat will come pick it up to touch up a few spots. Then he will drop it back off. I guess we will take it from there.

Clearly we need to get the MAN LAW guys out here - No putting 2 swim platforms on just for safety!

Looks great - and good idea! :D

Rik stated they are 6" shorter than the Speedmaster #6. I don't know the actual length of what the inline asd-8's are to answer your Q. The only reason I opted for the swim platform was for safety cause the top side of the blades are exposed, plus I actually like the look and function with the xtra platform. JJ

Great rig Jass :D Just cruise at 95% WOT all the time and a rooster to boot.

On another note, WrinkleBalls prefers these kinds :evilb:

I bet you will like the extra swim platform room also.

I am not sure how far 6's stick out, so I will be curious on the measurements for the ASDs.

300 Gal. Not sure on the fuel milaege but the 50 with std lay-up and trip 315's averages 25 GPH at total fuel burn. I imagine at the same speeds I would be approaching 900 miles per tank at those speeds, :D .http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...d.php?t=127522

Terry called, boat is finished, I told him to use it for the Ft Meyers get together this weekend. Who'm ever is going take some pics, Thanks, have a good holiday everyone. :drink: Jeff

I hear ya on all that, and still drinkin. Day was great, thanks for askin. Hi of 74 today, beats earlier in the week of 50's and 20 mph north winds. The river dropped 5' yesterday very little tide change. I hope it stays that way cause I'll be forming up my boat launch tomorrow. Later :drink: Jeff

Was in the 70s all weekend at LOTO. Ended up some folks did not make it down, so I did not do any boating. But did get tons of other stuff done. Did you hear from Terry yet?

Throttle's not responding info back. Went to go test on Friday, just had reverse. Hopefully Mastry will be down today to straighten it out. Jeff
