Is this your first cat? Being that you're in South Florida would you mind telling how much you pay for insurance? I saw it on the 2005 Daytona Poker Run and the owner was from NY....beautiful boat. Thanks.

Re: 4300 Supercat

15K is actually reasonable for a big cat that runs 140mph and is located in Florida. That is depending on the specifics of the policy.

That policy won't get issued today for that price. If I could afford that boat, I would think 15K is a dream for insurance.

I was thinking in the 8 to 10 grand area. Of course the location and the piece of equipment your running definitely makes a big difference. None the less and awesome ride!! :D

$ 22,000 sounds cheap for that boat in Miami.

A friend of mine has a 2005 Nor Tech 36 Cat with 525's and just renewed for $ 21,000 a year with wind coverage. Was $9,000!

Rick

Hi Rick,

Yes, I remember that boat, it is georgeous! I wish it would fit on our lift up the lake. I think a 36 Supercat will just make it. Phat Cat is incredible too! And, I cannot leave out "Purple Haze"! That is another killer boat! We are looking at a 36 supercat again. We will see what happens.

Great seeing you in Key West.

DRASTIC PRICE REDUCTION FOR QUICK SALE

http://www.offshoreonly.com/esvon/page-10762.html

For the price I am selling it for now, it pays to buy a bigger lift and move up to the 43'.
